1. Information we collect

We process account information provided through our authentication provider, including your account identifier and associated profile information. We also store the job-application information you choose to add, such as company, position, description, source URL, status, dates, and notes.

When you activate the browser extension on a page, it reads the visible text and URL from that page so Jobenu can prepare an application draft. The extension does not continuously monitor your browsing activity.

If you submit the Pro interest form, we store your selected features, answer about the proposed price, optional notes, and submission time. We store an email address only if you provide one; you can submit the form anonymously.

2. How we use information

We use this information to provide and secure Jobenu, prepare and save application records, authenticate users, troubleshoot errors, and improve the product. We do not sell personal information.

We use Pro interest answers to decide what to build and may use the submitted email, if any, to follow up about Pro. Submitting the form does not start a subscription or take payment.

3. Service providers

Jobenu relies on specialist providers for authentication, hosting, database infrastructure, AI processing, product analytics, and error monitoring. Depending on the configured AI provider, captured job text may be processed by OpenAI, Google, or Anthropic to create a structured draft. PostHog analytics runs on the marketing site only after you consent. Sentry is used to diagnose technical failures.

4. Retention and security

Application records are retained while needed to provide the service or until you delete them. Unsaved extraction drafts are temporary. Technical records are retained according to operational needs and provider settings. We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards, but no online service can guarantee absolute security.

Pro interest responses are kept while we assess the plan or until you ask us to delete yours.

5. Your choices and rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, export, restrict, or delete your personal information. You can change optional analytics consent through “Cookie settings” in the footer. Contact us to exercise a right that is not available inside the app.

6. International processing

Some providers may process information outside your country. Where required, we rely on the safeguards offered by those providers and applicable data-protection law.

7. Changes and contact
